Boys Baseball
Early Bird Registration: November 17, 2025 - January 11, 2026
Late Registration: January 12-19, 2026
Age: 5-14
Cost: $175
Game Time: 6:00 p.m. and later, depending on age.
Baseball games and practices will be held during the week or weekends against teams from Pelham or other cities if necessary. Participants must be between the ages of 5 and 14 by April 30, 2026. Spring practice begins early-February, with games slated for the first week of March to May.
In-person and online registration will open on November 17, 2025.

Girls Softball
Early Bird Registration: November 17, 2025 - January 11, 2026

Softball games and practices will be held during the week or weekends against teams from neighboring communities. Participants must be between the ages of 5 and 13 on August 31, 2025. Spring practice begins early-February, with games slated for the first week of March to May.
In-person and online registration will open on November 17, 2025.

Fall baseball is a less competitive learning program. Games and practices are played during the week. Games are against teams from Alabaster, Calera, Chelsea, Columbiana, Helena, Jemison, Montevallo, and Pelham. Practices begin at the end of August. Participants must be between the ages of 5-12 by April 30, 2026.

You don't have to be experienced to be a volunteer coach or official for Pelham Parks & Recreation. If you are interested, please create an account and submit an application online.
The City of Pelham conducts annual background checks on all volunteers associated with its recreational programs. These include national and state criminal history checks. Pelham Parks & Recreation coaches are also required to complete the CoachSafely program annually. Individuals that do not consent to the background check are not allowed to volunteer.
